Transparent low-medium gain overdrive/ boost designed for Bass (but also great for guitar). High and low shelf parallel boosts with additive EQ allow you to set up a clear, punchy clean tone without sacrificing any low end.

Both shelf pots remain clean up to noon, with small amounts of grit after. Further control is added with a 3-way clipping option per side (separate for high and low shelves) to get your perfect clean-dirty, "edge of breakup" sound. This also allows you to keep either your low or high end clean while only adding dirt to the opposite, for clarity in your tone. Shape switch allows mid control (boost, cut, flat) by moving the low knee of the high shelf to change how much mid/high is affected.

Boost control is a blendable transistor boost section post-EQ, allowing you to add an extra amount of dirt to the output whenever you like. Blend control means the clean signal always remains in the boosted tone for greater control and clarity. Additional clipping options on this stage allow it to be a pure boost, or add more grit to the main tone.
